Rajjuruwatte Tea Factory situated in Kalawana, owned by Asela Mallikarathne achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 28/29 June, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 3,000 per kg for PEK1 grade in the Low Grown category. This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S Qualitea Ceylon ltd.
